Luxury ballistic fashion brand Gang Wayz is officially expanding into Germany, with operations now based in Hamburg. The move marks the company’s first major expansion into Europe following a successful market test conducted in Germany earlier this year.
Founded in Cali, Colombia, Gang Wayz has gained international attention for its patented bulletproof crossbody bags that combine luxury streetwear aesthetics with real ballistic protection. The brand focuses on discreet protection integrated into premium everyday fashion , creating products designed to look like luxury accessories rather than traditional protective equipment , like bulletproof sling bags and crossbody bags.
For founder Raphael Ranger, Germany was always intended to be the company’s first major step into Europe. At 16 years old, Ranger spent time in Europe with a Swiss-German family, where he learned conversational German and developed a strong appreciation for German culture, mentality, and business discipline.
“Germany was always the first country in Europe I wanted to expand into,” said Ranger. ” I’ve had a strong interest in Germany and its culture, so bringing Gang Wayz there feels natural to me.”
The company first tested the German market in January through online campaigns and promotional efforts. According to Gang Wayz, the response was highly positive and confirmed that there was strong interest in the brand and its products.
“We didn’t want to enter Europe blindly,” Ranger explained. “We tested Germany first, and the results were very successful. After seeing the reaction and the level of interest, we realized this was the right time to go full scale.”
Hamburg was selected as the company’s operational base in Germany because of its international business environment, strong logistics infrastructure, and strategic importance within Europe. Gang Wayz says Germany will now serve as the company’s gateway for broader European expansion.
The expansion will focus on online sales, influencer collaborations, media visibility, and long-term brand development throughout Germany. The company also plans to continue developing new models and innovations within the ballistic fashion industry as demand for discreet protective products continues to grow internationally.
Known for combining luxury-inspired design with ballistic protection, Gang Wayz positions itself differently from traditional body armor companies. The brand aims to create products that feel premium, fashionable, and wearable in everyday life while still offering real protective capabilities.
With Germany officially becoming its first large-scale European market, Gang Wayz believes the next phase of the company’s international growth has now begun.
